Exclusive Interview w/ Stephanie Osorio (April 2012)

STEPHANIE OSORIO

Rsptunes: Tell us where you are originally from.
Stephanie: I'm from Toms River, NJ which is a medium sized town near Seaside Heights (Jersey Shore).

Rsptunes: what is the name of your company?
Stephanie: My company is called Perennial Records Entertainment.

Rsptunes: Who are some of the artists on your label?
Stephanie: Right now we manage two artists named Litombe & Tex and Kontraversy. We're also working with other artists and producers who are considered to be on the Perennial team.

Rsptunes: Did you always know you'd be involved in the music industry?
Stephanie: Definitely not, I originally went to school for Criminal Justice to become a military cop. When I started attending Five Towns College, I began coordinating music related events and started the Music Business Club. From there on I realized the music industry was the career path I wanted to pursue.

Rsptunes: Any cool projects currently in the works or scheduled for later this year?
Stephanie: Yeah, to be honest we are working on a mixtape for Litombe & Tex and Kontraversy. Also, we have a few events that are in the works so definitely stay tuned to that.

Rsptunes: Name your top 5 artists right now.
Stephanie:
Litombe & Tex
Kontraversy
Teddy Grahams
Th3 Saga
B.I.Z.

Rsptunes: Are you a pc or a mac?
Stephanie: Definitely a pc.. I love windows!

Rsptunes: What is the best thing about having your own record company?
Stephanie: To be honest, it's not even the fact that I own a company... It's the great things that come along with it such as dedication and strength. You learn many things that help you adapt to different situations which can be applied anytime. It's great to be surrounded by talented, young people who are striving to reach the top.

Rsptunes: Are you currently seeking new talent on your label?
Stephanie: At the moment no because we are transitioning into a management and entertainment company, but we always like to network and meet other artists and producers for current/future projects.

Rsptunes: For the people trying to get in touch with you, let them know the best way.

Stephanie: For anyone who would like to contact myself or my business partner, feel free to email us at PerennialRecordsEnt@gmail.com or follow us on Twitter @PerennialRecEnt. We also just launched our website so feel free to check it out: www.perennialrecent.com
Thank you so much for this great opportunity and shout out to the Rsptunes team!
