Rsptunes: For those that don't know you're an actress,model and dancer. Tell us how did you break into this industry and what time period in life did you realize this is what I want to do?
Jessica: I think I was born with the desire to perform in some way. I say this because as a little girl I enrolled myself in ballet classes. There were auditions being held after school for a private dance company. I was accepted into the program along with a handful of kids. It was every wednesday and instead of going to school us kids went to dance for the day and I LOVED it. I really did enjoy the discipline but did not feel like this was what I wanted to do with my life. I didn't feel that way until Jr Highschool when I was cast in an original school play. I distinctly remember feeling the happiest I've ever been. It was the first day of rehearsals I was up for my scene along with two other classmates. I was nervous but I delivered my lines perfectly and even added a few hand gestures. I was into it and brought the character to life. I felt something special and my teacher Mr. Cibelli jumped up clapping when the scene was over and told me how much I impressed him. I was in cloud nine. I felt that way again on opening night and every night we performed. I knew then that I wanted to be an actress someday. Shortly after I caught the modeling bug when I grew out of my tomboy stage in High School. But my parents wanted me to focus on school. A semester into College my mom must have been sick of me saying how much I wanted to be a model/actress because she told me about a JLo by Jennifer Lopez Model Search for her clothing line. It was in the paper every radio station was talking about it. Thousands of girls tried out and I was one of the 6 hand picked by Jennifer Lopez. I think my folks got the point after that. I've been chasing my dreams ever since.

Rsptunes: Is there a celebrity or role model that you looked up to growing up that influenced your career choice?
Jessica: Most definitely! West Side Story was on repeat in my house and I wanted to be Rita Moreno. She was beautiful could dance, sing, act and she was Latina. My father adored her and I wanted everyone to feel that way about me. I wanted to entertain as she did. Then came Jennifer Lopez and that was it for me, she inspired me in such an indescribable way. Meeting her and modeling for her clothing line was a dream come true.

Rsptunes: For the many ladies that want to follow in your foot steps what advice would you give them?
Jessica: I recently came across this quote it sums up any advice I could give “You don't have to be great to start, but you have to start to be great” by Zig Ziglar. We all have to start from somewhere. The sooner you start the better. No excuses, I come from humble beginnings but did not let that stop me, if anything it helped build tough skin. That's something that will come in handy in any career you choose. Good Luck!

Rsptunes: Any celebrity crushes? or Is there anyone special in Jessica Caban's life? :)
Jessica: Hmmm I think I will keep that to myself. Being in this industry you quickly learn that it is best to keep your private life private and I've always done that. At this point in my life I've made a choice to be more careful with what I put out there.

Rsptunes: Any company, actor or actress that you'd love to work with but have not as yet?
Jessica: As long as I'm working I'm happy but I would love to work with Jodi Foster, John Travolta, Meryl Streep, Brad Pitt, Denzel Washington, Julia Roberts, Hilary Swank, Penélope Cruz, Stephen King to name a few. Would love to work for Lions Gate, Century Fox, Universal Studios I mean the list goes on.

Rsptunes: Take us through your daily routine from Morning until Night.
Jessica: REALLY! I don't want to bore your readers lol. Everyday is different which is the best part about what I do. No matter what I make sure to start each day with brushing my teeth!!! If I'm not booked for the day whether it be modeling or acting then I am running around on castings, auditions, meetings or working from home. Which really means I'm in my pj's on my computer! I get a lot of work done that way. I attend events when I can as its important to network but I make sure to dedicate some time to giving back. During my downtime I like to rest, work out, spend time with loved ones or catch a movie but you will definitely catch me reading a Stephen King Book am a huge fan. Sometimes my work requires me to travel. I live to be on set or on a shoot. There you have it a glimpse into a day in my life.

Rsptunes: Any upcoming projects in 2012 that the fans should look forward to?
Jessica: YES I have a lot of things in the works. I have a few ads coming out for Johnnie Walker, Marriot Hotels, Tiger Beer and Garnier to name a few. I'm actually gearing up to star in my next film which has already received theatrical distribution. Its called "Getting Even" by Beverly Orozco http://www.aditipictures.com You will be able to see my acting debut in "Are You For Great Sex" on Netflix soon. As we are waiting for it's 5 Country Tour to be over. I am also in the beginning stages of being a part of a sitcom that's all I'll say. More to come so stay tuned.

Rsptunes: For the fans that need to know, what kind of music do you listen to, any favorite bands or artists?
Jessica: It depends what mood I'm in. I like anything I can dance to and that keeps me up beat!
